Also known as Silene flos-cuculi. It is a native British wildflower of wet grasslands, boggy areas and forest margins. Popular with bees. Grows to 75cm tall and 80cm across in full sun or partial shade. Produces pink flowers from May to August.
It is important that the soil never drys out. In the right conditions, ragged robin will self-seed and naturalise over time, and you can split plants every few years in the autumn.
