Red flowers are produced in spring and autumn, only stopping when the weather is hottest and during cold snaps.
Grows to 15cm tall and 15cm across in partial shade and a moist but well-drained soil. Great for pots and hanging baskets in a cool position.
The flowers are edible and look lovely in salads, and on cakes or deserts.
