Mauve flowers are produced from autumn to summer, only stopping when the weather is hottest and during cold snaps. It is one of the first plants to flower in our garden providing nectar to the occasional bee coming out of hibernation.
Grows to 20cm tall in full sun or partial shade and a well-drained soil. Great for pots and hanging baskets.
The flowers are edible and look lovely in salads, and on cakes or deserts.
