This perennial plant provides year-round interest with it's lime green leaves that will brighten up a shady spot (although it will die back a bit during particularly cold spells). It grows to 50cm tall and 50cm across in partial shade and moist soils making it a very useful plant for damp parts of the garden. It is also reasonably resistant to being eaten by the slugs that like a damp spot!
This plant is not part of our wildlife-friendly collection but it has still been grown without the use of peat or pesticides.
