This perennial plant provides year-round interest with it's bronze-coloured leaves, although it will die back a bit during particularly cold spells. It grows to 45cm tall and 45cm across in partial shade and moist soils making it a very useful plant for damp parts of the garden. It is also reasonably resistant to being eaten by the slugs that like a damp spot!
We have two colour variants of this variety; one with bronze leaves that are pinkish underneath, and one with bright green leaves with a slight pink tinge.
This plant is not part of our wildlife-friendly collection but it has still been grown without the use of peat or pesticides.
