This geranium looks lovely in a pot on a patio or balcony. It smells of citronella and is rumoured to deter biting insects.
It is a tender perennial that will last many years if it is protected from frosts. It will grow to 40cm tall and 30cm across in full sun or partial shade and a well-drained pot. The white and pink/purple flowers are produced from June to November or until the first frost.
Water the pot when the top layer of compost feels dry although this plant can withstand some drought.
