A Chinese wildflower that produces lovely garlic-flavoured chives that are great for cooking and attractive flowers that are popular with beneficial insects, bees and other pollinators. Grows to 40cm tall and 15cm across in full sun and a moist but well-drained soil. White flowers are produced from June to July.
Young leaves have the best sweet garlic flavour and if you keep harvesting them then this will keep the new leaves coming from June to September.
