Popular with beneficial insects, bees and other pollinators. Grows to 15cm tall and 15cm across in full sun and a well-drained soil. Produces yellow flowers from June to October. Good for growing in pots or flower beds but avoid planting in areas that are prone to slug or snail damage. Tagetes have been shown to repel whitefly and offer protection from whitefly infestation to neighbouring plants.
The flowers are edible and make a beautiful garnish.
