The Flag Iris (also known as Yellow Iris) is a native British wildlfower of waterways and marshes that is loved by bees. It grows to a metre tall, spreads over the years, and flowers from May to August in partial shade or full sun.
This plant will do very well (vigorously!) at the margins of a pond or you can plant it in a bog garden. Make sure the soil is kept wet while newly planted irises establish.
