This garden variety of an American wildflower is great for a shady spot. It grows to 30cm across in partial shade and a moist but well-drained soil and produces yellow flowers from April to May.
The leaves will die down over winter so we recommend you mark where you have planted this one.
This plant comes from a bulb and new bulbs will be produced over time increasing the size of the clump, which can then be divided after flowering.
