Daylilys perform brilliantly in a broad range of soils including heavy clay, coping well with both water-logging (but not permanently wet) and periods of drought (but not predominately dry).
This one grows to 60cm tall and 50cm across in full sun or partial shade and the clump can be divided every few years. It will die back completely over winter and return in ealry spring. The yellow/orange/red flowers are produced from June to August.
This plant has great levels of resistance to pest and diseases generally, and is not attacked by lily beetles, so is great for pesticide-free gardening.
