Buddlejas are so popular with butterflies they are known as butterfly bushes and their flowers support lots of other pollinators too.
This variety grows to 2.4m tall and 2m across in full sun or partial shade and moist but well-drained soils. Produces purple lilac-coloured flowers from July to September.
Remove the flower heads as soon as the flowers have finished to stop this plant self-seeding everywhere.
