A perennial wildflower from South America that produces blue flowers from August to October, which are popular with bees and butterflies. Prefers moist soils and full sun, and grows to 1.7m tall and 80cm across.
Don't allow the soil to dry out and add a mulch over winter. This plant dies down in the winter so we recommend marking the spot where it is planted.
Deadhead (trim the flolwering stems as they finish) to prolong flowering.
