This South American wildflower is popular with bees and beneficial insects. It climbs to 12m tall and 4m across in sun or partial shade, and a moist but well-drained soil. This is a vigorous plant but it will grow well in a pot if you want to limit its spread. Grow up a south- or west-facing wall. Produces white and blue flowers from July to September followed by orange fruit (not the ones we eat so they are best left for the wildlife).
