This climber grows to 1.8m tall with support from a trellis or similar, or will tumble down from a windor box or hanging basket. It needs a warm, sheltered spot in full sun and a moist but well-drained soil. We have found that is does best if the leaves are climbing in full sun but the roots are shaded (by ground cover plants or some stones) preventing the soil drying out too much.
It produces bright orange flowers with a striking black centre from July to September.
