This wildflower from southern Europe, northern Africa and western Asia is popular with beneficial insects, bees and other pollinators, and the seed provide food for garden birds. It grows to 1m tall and 50cm across in full sun or partial shade and well-drained soils. It produces large heads of tiny, delicate, white flowers from May to July.
