Rafting plants provide a habitat for tadpoles and eggs. Our plants are suitable for small to large ponds.
Emergent plant are important for dragonflies. Our plants are suitable for medium to large ponds.
All of the floating, rafting and emergent pond plants above are native British wild perennial plants.
All of the plants in the slider gallery below will do well in damp soils at the margins of a pond or in a bog garden. Some require a damp soil all year round while others will also flourish in a drier soil. This selection includes plants that prefer sun and plants that prefer shade.
