Hello! This is Catherine here, the owner of Horfield Greenary.
All sales on this website are suspended during August while I close down Horfield Greenary Ltd and transition to selling as a sole trader. You can still email me at horfieldgreenary@gmail.com about plants you have purchased previously or with any other questions.
I will be back in the autumn (when the ground is wet again!) with a great range of plants for delivery in north Bristol.
I grow wildlife-friendly plants from seed in peat-free compost without pesticides and deliver them in compostable pots by bicycle around north Bristol.
Check out my wildlife gardening blogs on gardening for butterflies, gardening for bees, year-round flowering, supporting garden birds, lawns for wildlife, and planting a bog garden, all written with our local soil and wildlife in mind.
Butterfly Conservation's Big Butterfly Count is running until Saturday 10 August. To find out about the butterflies and moths that you are most likely to see in north Bristol, check out my Butterflies & Moths Blog!
My next market, as a sole trader, is at Abbey Wood Retail Park on Tuesday 2 September
It is time for my annual photo competition!
Send me a photo of a plant that was bought from Horfield Greenary for a chance to win.
Details here.
August is a great time to stop gardening, put your feet up, and plan the year ahead. Pour yourself a drink, take a look at my Year-Round Gardening blog and browse my selection of plants for our local soil to aid your planning.
